This beautiful sea snail is another find we found on our coast. In the past, the precious purple dye was extracted from the purple snail. The body of the purple snail, however, is not purple in color, but gray; the purple color only develops during processing. Beautiful to look at as an original, it is still not wearable due to its fragility. Moulded in sand, we were able to capture these beautiful shapes and structures in a unique image of nature as a piece of jewellery.
